It's UNITED WAY fundraiser time!

As a company that embraces servant leadership we always strive to help our own as well as the community around us.  Because of this committment to our community, we participate in an annual drive to raise funds for the United Way.  We know a lot of you following the blog want to know more about InkCycle and how we run the company, not just how great great our products are, so this week we will be reporting on the efforts of our fundraiser. So join us "virtually" as we share in the fun and friendship that is UNITED WAY WEEK AT INKCYCLE!

Today is Kick Off day!  In keeping with our competitive nature (although we are ONE TEAM), we divided into teams for a little friendly fundraising competition.  This week will consist of an InkCycle Carnival (complete with dunk tank), Bake Sale, Soup Day, and each day we will selling raffle tickets and bingo cards.  It's too bad that our dealer division VP Carl Little won't be in town for the dunk tank.  He was always a big money maker!  (No worries, though, we still have the soaking wet video of him going down into the water last year.)

We look forward to the event every year.  We get a chance to get to know each other and spend some time having fun.  (But don't worry, we'll get right back to work making those high quality inkjet and toner cartridges in between trying to meet our fundraising goal!)

We'll keep you updated on the events this week, and hope you enjoy our "play" time as much as we do.  We have set a goal of raising $25,000 this year.  We're hoping to get as close to that number as possible!

InkCycle associates enjoy some coffee and doughnuts as we prepare to Kick Off the United Way 2011 Fundraiser.

No Kick Off is complete without a balloon drop!  Thanks to our Activities Committee for planning the event. A special thank you goes out to Customer Care Supervisor, Stacy Kroeker, who emceed the Kick Off this morning!

Dealer Sales Manager Jason Clover and Dealer VP Carl Little have a chat with several InkCycle associates as the Kick Off winds down.
