BTA: West Coast Update

Guest Blog Reported by: Carl Little, VP-Dealer Sales
Paris Hotel, Las Vegas, NV

The Magic of Las Vegas and the BTA are alive and well at the BTA West District Meeting.  There are 50 dealers here for two days of learning and networking.  The beautiful Paris Hotel is our home for the event, and strolling through the street of 'faux' Paris every morning on the way to the event is just part of the fun here in Vegas!

Last night was the keynote address from Toshiba's President Mark Mathews.  Today there will be presentations from BTA's in-house counsel, Bob Goldberg, as well as John Hey addressing the changes in dealer's financial models.  I'm also looking forward to Tom Callinan as he speaks on strategic development and managed print strategies.

The vendor area is hot this session, as there are 31 vendors representing everything from leasing companies, printer manufacturers, copier manufacturers, document management, power protection consulting companies, and sales management software. It's a great mix of companies, and with so many in the vendor area, there's plenty of time available for a one-on-one conversation.

I will be at the InkCycle booth... until I head over to the "magical" performance of David Copperfield this evening.  If you're at the event, stop by our booth so I can share with the "tools for traction" InkCycle can provide!

Also, don't forget about our November Sale this month... we have great specials on remanufactured Lexmark/Dell cartridges that expire on November 30.  (Remember to order extra this week, as next week is the Thanksgiving holiday and the shipping companies have reduced hours!)
